Cellar Door -

日本ではなかなか見ることができない地下室へ入るドアなのだが、 スケーターには遊び場所に見える。 セラードアで思い浮かぶのはボビープーリオ。 ニューヨーク中の色々なセラードアを使い滑っているのが印象的だ。 実物を見ると鉄板の表面には凹凸があり、角度も急だった。 スケーターは街を遊び場にする天才だということを痛感した。

In Japan, it is very rare to find the cellar doors that connect the street to the basement of buildings, but for skaters in the US they use it as their playground. Bobby Puleo is someone who reminds me of this type of spot. He skates various cellar doors in New York. When I saw actual cellar doors, they have a really uneven metal surface and a steep angle. I realized that skaters are talented people who turn the city into their playground.
